NBS Nelson Striders hold their first Sunday Expedition for 2018, on February 4th, and will head to Parachute Rock, Nelson Lakes National Park. Trailrunners and walkers competent to tackle the climb are invited to join them.
The landmark gained its name from a parachute-shaped gravel scree and the St Arnaud Range ridge line at 1683m is a challenging kilometre climb from Kerr Bay, Lake Rotoiti (634m) below.
