Nelson Nature is Nelson City Council’s biodiversity programme, which aims to support and restore our region’s natural environment. Due it its geology, the Dun Mountain is a unique environment that supports its own specific flora and fauna, some of which are found nowhere else. Nelson Nature is working to protect these areas through control of invasive weeds and pests.
