Nelson Events is proud to be the contracted event service provider for the Heart Foundation's 2012 Jennian Homes Mothers Day 5km and to help raise awareness for the Go Red for Women Campaign.

Become a HEART RACER and help stop New Zealanders dying prematurely from heart disease
In New Zealand, more than seven women die from heart disease every day.
But the good news is that heart disease is largely preventable. Go Red for Women is the Heart Foundation's campaign to boost awareness of heart disease in women and to raise vital funds for heart research and cardiac care. Go Red for Women is about empowering women with the knowledge to take action now, care for their heart and help reduce their risk.
Event Information
This event is for females only, blokes - you can support from the sidelines, or better yet, volunteer to help on the day!
Enter before the 7th of May to receive a FREE event CAP. Entries received after May 7th, or on the day, do not qualify for the free event cap (paper entries). If you are entering online then the deadline for the FREE cap is Tuesday May 8th.
Entry
Entry Fee is $25.
Children under 10 are $15 (children in buggies accompanying their Mum are included in Mum's entry). Please note that this event is for WOMEN only - no males (including male children) can complete this event (including boys) - babies in buggies are fine. Merchandise
All entries received before the 7th of May (paper) and 8th of May (online) qualify for a FREE event cap.
T-Shirts are available by pre-order ($30)
The 2012 Event T-Shirt is a RED Quick Dry (moisture wicking) fabric with V-Neck.
It has a shaped hemline and is fitted in style.
Generation Challenge
If you are going to participate in this event with other female members of your family, we would love to hear about it! Just let us know who your family members in the event are, and you will go in a special spot prize draw!
Registration
Registration will be from 9.00am until 9.45am on Sunday the 13th of May at Jennian Homes, Champion Rd, Richmond.
Course
The start and finish is at Jennian Homes, Champion Rd.
5km course following the Walkway Reserve - all FLAT (no hills)!

Buggies are most definitely allowed to accompany Mums - we just ask that you take special care especially during the start when there are a lot of moving legs to navigate around and through.
