Abel Tasman Coastal Classic this Saturday

We look forward to seeing you at the Marahau Outdoor Education Centre (in the marquee) on Saturday morning from 6.45am. Registration closes at 7.30am.

Just a couple of reminders for this Saturday.

You will collect your race pack from Race Headquarters – the Marahau Outdoor Education Centre (MOEC) on event morning between 6.45am and 7.30am. The MOEC is situated on the beachfront at Marahau, next to the Motor Camp/Shop.

You must present the completed and signed Registration Certificate (the pdf link was emailed to your inbox in Pre-Event Emailer #4 and Pre Event Emailer #5) plus your photo identification (ie drivers licence) to uplift your race pack. If you don't have access to a printer, we will have some spares available at Registration.

All check in is at the Marahau Outdoor Education Centre.

Following your run
Mimassage will be in attendance at the marquee (this is also where you will pick up your lunch).

The prizegiving function is by ticket only (commences 4.30pm). You will have a choice of either a complimentary ‘glass’ of Woollaston wine, a brew from Hop Federation, or a non alcoholic drink. Please note that additional purchases are by CASH only - there is no eftpos available on site.

Compulsory Gear
A reminder that your compulsory gear will be checked prior to starting and may be checked on the track as well as at the finish line. Failure to have all compulsory gear at any stage of the event will result in disqualification and immediate withdrawal, possibly incurring additional transport costs (you will not be allowed to continue) – so ensure you wear or carry the following at all times:

* Windproof jacket
* Survival Blanket
* Whistle
* Water Carrier (with water in it)
* Polypropylene, woollen or equivalent Hat
* Polypropylene, woollen or equivalent Gloves
* Polypropylene, woollen or equivalent Top

Please note that at least either your windproof jacket or your polypropylene top must be long sleeved. ie your gear must include a long sleeve garment.
