NBS Nelson Lakes 90 Race Information

After a fantastic first year trial of the NBS Nelson Lakes 90 course we are excited to bring the event back to you in 2010.
Diary January 30th in your diary now!

The Course
A 90km circuit from Lake Rotoiti, Nelson Lakes. From Lake Rotoiti, head to Korere via TopHouse and Kikiwa. From there its on to the Kawatiri Junction before completing the circuit back at St Arnaud.

Ride as an individual or relay team with designated changeovers at Korere and Kawatiri.

Entry Fee
Entry to the 2010 NBS Nelson Lakes 90 has now closed. Entries will be accepted on the day, however, we will be unable to cater lunch for late entrants.

Individual $55. Under 18 $40.
Teams $75.

Registration
Between 8.00am and 9.00am at the Red Deer Lodge, St Arnaud.

Red Deer Lodge is on View Rd, opposite the DOC Information Centre - see map below (circled in black)

Race Start
9.30am at the Lake Rotoiti waterfront.

Race Finish
Main Road of St Arnaud.

Medical
Please advise in writing any medical conditions to the Race Organiser prior to the event.
Please also write this information on the back of your race number on event day.

Prizes & Prizegiving
Approximately 3.00pm on the lakefront at Lake Rotoiti. In bad weather this will be held at the Lake Rotoiti Community Hall.
Performance and spot prizes. Please note that you must be present at prizegiving to be eligible for spot prizes.

Safety
The NBS Nelson Lakes 90 is a cycle ride for everyone (min age 15 yrs). Sorry no unicycles or recumbents.
Road rules must be obeyed at all times. Riders must not cross the centre line.

Withdrawals/Refund
If you withdraw from the event, ie don't complete the ride, please ensure you advise an official by handing in your race number. As safety is our main concern we need to account for all riders - finished or withdrawn.

Withdrawals prior to the event must be received in writing to either PO Box 129, Nelson or via email to admin@nelsonevents.co.nz
Withdrawals received prior to January 23rd will receive a full refund less $15 Administration Fee.
Withdrawals received after January 23rd are not eligible for any refund of entry fee.
Please note that withdrawals are processed around the 20th of each calendar month, so it may take a few weeks for your refund to come through.
